Hi,

First and foremost, I’d want to express my gratitude for visiting my website.

My name is Martin. I first received my callsign on February 11th, 2005, and was largely active on the 2M and 70CM bands until 2007, when I lost interest in the hobby. After conversing with a fellow radio ham about the Baofeng UV5r, I believe I went on to purchase one of the handsets and became active again in 2015.

After receiving the radio, I moved on to purchase a base station. I chose the Wouxon KG-UV950P because it contains the bands that I use the most and fits perfectly into the new shack, covering 2m, 6m, 70cm, and 4m. I then came across Pi-Star and decided to buy a Pi-Star Hotspot. I can’t get any of the local repeaters from my current location.

Now that I have the pi-star in the shack, I use the Retivs RT82 radio. I primarily monitor the HUB Net chat group on DMR.

That’s all there is to it.

73,

Martin (M3ISJ)
